OUR EXPERIENCE
A WORD FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - ACATA
Welcome to the official website of the Association for Computerized Adaptive Testing in Africa (ACATA). Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) is gradually taking root globally and experts in educational assessment, measurement and evaluation and related specialisations have been coming together to both use their skills and share knowledge and expertise. Since post-COVID-19 environment makes the adoption of CAT, especially in public examinations, more inevitable than it was before December 2019, intensification of efforts has also become necessary. ACATA has come on board as part of this.

ACATA desires to sharpen skills for innovative CAT implementation in public examination bodies and educational institutions in Africa. Members look forward to an exciting experience learning, sharing and growing psychometrics together.
