Simulations research are carried out for determining the feasibility of Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT); a technology-driven assessment solution for accuracy with students’ ability placement.
Feasibility studies are carried out to answer salient questions such as psychometric expertise, item banking capacity, availability of an affordable CAT delivery engine, and translational benefits of reduction in test length among others.
These questions are not answered by mere conjecture but through simulations research.
